OKLAHOMA CITY – Micah Clark of Nelson and Jonas Carlisle of Oklahoma City have earned this week's Sooner Athletic Conference Digital Scoreboards Men's Basketball Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week awards for their efforts over the past week, as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.
 
Clark claimed his third weekly award by pacing the Lions to a 2-0 record last week by averaging 31.5 points per game on 55.3 percent shooting from the field. Clark scored 31 points in a win over Mid-America Christian and then added 32 points in a victory over Science & Arts. Clark was 9-of 18 from beyond the arc as well over the span, while adding 14 rebounds and six assists during the week.
 
Other Nominees - Mohand Ammad, Science and Arts, Jay Baxter, College of the Ozarks, Jonas Carlisle, Oklahoma City, Jamari Lawrence, Wayland Baptist, Antonio Lewis, Langston, Chris Whitten, Central Christian, Morris Williams, Mid-America Christian, and Aaron Williams Jr., Panhandle State.
 
Carlisle helped the Stars to a 2-0 record last week with 16 defensive rebounds, four steals, and four blocks during the week. In a win over Wayland Baptist, Carlisle grabbed six defensive caroms, with a block. In a win over Panhandle State, Carlisle snagged 10 defensive boards, with four steals and three blocks. Carlisle also finished the week by averaging 17.5 points per game.
