OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University senior Jonas Carlisle earned NAIA All-America status, the organization announced on Monday morning.
 
Carlisle, a senior guard from San Antonio, Texas, received the honor as a third-team honoree. He is OCU's first All-American (excluding honorable mention) since 2019 (Chris Williams, second team).
 
Carlisle, the MVP of the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament and first-team All-Sooner Athletic Conference selection, led the Stars to their first SAC Championship since 2019.
 
Carlisle, who also made the SAC's All-Defensive Team, averaged 17.4 points and 7.4 rebounds. He led the team with 108 assists and was second in blocks (30) and steals (41).
