OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City placed four players on the All-Sooner Athletic Conference Baseball Team, the league announced on Wednesday.

Aiden Van Rensum and
Trent Baker were first-team selections, while
Aiden Alexander and
Nick Anaya were selected to the second team. Baker and Alexander were named Golden Glove award winners.

Van Rensum earned his spot as a utility player, spending time in the outfield, first base and on the mound. Baker and Alexander were honored as outfielders and Anaya as a pitcher.

Baker led the Stars with a .385 batting average and 33 stolen bases. He also had seven home runs and 38 runs batted in. Baker was charged with only one error in 57 fielding chances.

Van Rensum batted .362 with a team-leading 16 home runs, 64 RBIs and a .761 slugging percentage.

Alexander hit .344 with two home runs and 19 RBIs to go along with a team-leading 15 doubles. He was also flawless in 81 fielding chances in center field.

Anaya served as the team's closer with six saves. He was 4-1 with a 2.86 earned run average.
