OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City opens the double-elimination portion of the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament on Friday at 2:30 p.m. in Joplin, Missouri.
 
The first task for OCU is to take on Mid-America Christian University.
 
The Stars are the third seed and are joined in the bracket by top-seeded Texas Wesleyan and fifth-seeded Nelson. Those two Metroplex area teams meet in an 11 a.m. game on Friday.
 
The losers of the first games meet at 6 p.m. in an elimination game while the winners play Saturday at 1 p.m.
 
The two surviving losers meet at 4 p.m. on Saturday, with the first of possibly two championship games set for 1 p.m. on Sunday.
