OKLAHOMA CITY – Stars' baseball has a busy Spring Break week ahead; the team will play four games, with one being against NCAA Division II Southern Nazarene University tomorrow. More notably, Oklahoma City University will open a Sooner Athletic Conference series against Southwestern Christian University on Friday, March 20.
OCU will play SNU at Feland Field in Bethany, Okla., on Tuesday, March 17, at 2 p.m. to begin their week of play. Before jumping to NCAA Division II, the Red Storm were conference foes of the Stars. Historically, Oklahoma City owns a 19-3 record against SNU. However, SNU was victorious last April when the Stars and Red Storm played to an exciting 9-8 result. After the single game on Tuesday against SNU, OCU will turn its attention toward its SAC counterpart, the SCU Eagles. Game one of the series is set to begin Friday at noon CST. The Eagles and Stars will play a doubleheader on Friday, with game two beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 21, will conclude the series with the two squads playing a single nine-inning game at noon.
