OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City received its second Sooner Athletic Conference award in women's soccer this season with Amelia Horsford claiming Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
 
Horsford had a great game against Sterling in which she scored three goals and added an assist. The seven points in a game is a Sooner Athletic Conference best this season. Horsford converted the three goals on just four shots.
 
For Horsford, who was an All-Conference selection last season, this is her first weekly honor.
 
OCU also received a defensive award earlier this year when Candela Blanco picked up Defensive Player of the Week honors in week two.
