OKLAHOMA CITY – The Sooner Athletic Conference selected six Oklahoma City University women's soccer players for the
2025 All-Conference team, the league announced Thursday.

Kayleigh Haygood headlines the team as the Newcomer of the Year. The junior midfielder from Edmond also made first-team All-Conference along with forward
Amelia Horsford, defenders
Aynslee Duffy and
Piper Nichols and goalkeeper
Candela Blanco.
Reese Roberts made the squad as a second-team midfielder.

Haygood and Horsford tied for the team lead with 12 goals each with Haygood leading the team with nine assists and 33 points. She leads the SAC in assists and total points.

Horsford, a junior from Crosby, Texas, has four assists to go along with her 12 goals and shares the team lead with 28 shots on goal. She was a second-team selection last season.

Duffy, a senior from Oklahoma City, and Nichols, a senior from Little Rock, Arkansas, were key members of an OCU defense that limited opponents to 126 shots and 68 shots on goal this season. Nichols also had two goals and an assist while Duffy added one goal and one assist. Nichols was second-team All-Conference in 2023 and 2024.

Blanco, a junior from Avila, Spain, led the SAC with 10 shutouts and an .851 save percentage. She also was second in goals allowed per game at 0.54.

Roberts, a junior from Oklahoma City, made the second team for the third consecutive season. She had two goals and seven assists for the season.
