OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City women's soccer placed six players on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team, the CSC announced Tuesday.
 
The award requires a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and a significant on-the-field contribution.
 
Ashley Russell, Abby Russell, Reese Roberts, Yami Ponce, Jadyn Basler and Kayleigh Haygood were awarded the distinction.
 
Haygood was SAC Newcomer of the Year and Roberts made the All-Conference team. Ashley Russell started 19 games with goal. Abby Russell had three goals and four assists. Ponce had 11 goals and two assists. Haygood had 12 goals and nine assists while Roberts added two goals and seven assists.
