OKLAHOMA CITY - The OCU baseball teams looks to carry on its hot start into a big weekend of four games starting on Friday and finishing up on Saturday.

Key Hitters Key Pitchers OKLAHOMA CITY STARS (6-0)
  • OCU continues its hot start after coming off another sweep last weekend over Clarke University as the Stars begin the season 6-0 for the first time since 2019.
  • Oklahoma City has put together a powerful start to the season at the plate with four batters hitting over the .400 mark as the team has put together a .373 batting average through six games.
  • The Stars have opened their undefeated season by scoring double-digit runs in four of six games as OCU wrapped up the series sweep over Clarke on Saturday being boosted by a four run eighth inning to help provide the comeback once again.
  • Darian Duhon leads the team with a .550 batting average and also leads in runs scored with nine. Duhon has notched multi-hit games four out of six times while adding one home run to his line.
  • Trent Kiraly falls in right behind Duhon with a .500 AVG and leads OCU with nine RBIs and three home runs including a grand slam. 
  • Noah Kang broke out in a big way in last weekend's series as th sophomore shortstop went 5-for-9 with four doubles and five runs scored.
  • Aiden Alexander will look to keep his hitting streak alive as the centerfield sophomore is the only Star to have a hit in each game this season.
  • Connor Ferguson has made two thus far and despite both outcomes being a no decision, the senior right hander leads the way with a stellar 0.90 ERA in 10 innings of work while allowing just one earned run. 
  • Jacob Burkett comes off a strong start in game one against Clarke as the as the junior bounced back from his opening day start of just going 3.1 innings to throwing six full against the Pride while allowing just one run and striking out five. 
  • The two relievers in Chad Pike and Reese Ratchford have yet to still allow a run as Pike has closed down two games earning two saves in 3.1 IP while striking out seven batters without allowing a hit. Ratchford comes in with 4.0 IP and eight strikeout while picking up a save against LSU-A in game two of the season.

BELLEVUE BRUINS (1-3)
  • The Bruins opened their season with a gauntlet of a schedule taking on three ranked teams while earning its lone victory over Arizona Christian who is recieving votes.
  • Through four games Brendan Luther leads Bellevue with five hits and a .313 batting average with one home run. 
  • On the pitching side it has been Jayden Vinson making a pair of starts while holding a 1-0 record with a 1.80 ERA.
