Rally Radacy gave the Stars the go ahead run in the fifth scoring Mollet.
OCU got on the board first with a groundout RBI from Mollet in the 2nd. The Spartans scored in the sixth off a double and then tied it off a homerun from Molly McPheeters in the top of the sixth with two outs. The Stars tried to rally after a
Mallory McCoy single but couldn't drive a run home.
OCU had eight hits. Radacy and
Brooklyn Mason had two, while Mollet,
Mallory McCoy and
Kaitlyn Jones, and
Tiffany Paul each had one.
Shelbey Cornelson took the loss for the Stars as she picked up 12 strikeouts.
OCU gets back to action tomorrow at noon and 2 p.m. against Cottey (Mo.) in their double header.
