OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City finished seventh in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association team academic standings and also had 11 players named NFCA Scholar Athletes.
The Stars, with a 3.71 team grade point average, were behind Faulkner (3.80), Missouri Baptist (3.768), Spring Arbor (3.765), Central Baptist (3.72), Coastal Georgia (3.75) and William Carey (3.74). The rest of the top 10 included Brenau (3.70), Bellevue (3.68) and Central Methodist (3.67).
