OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University senior Peyton Crispin has been named Sooner Athletic Conference Player of the Week after helping lead the No. 6 Stars to a three-game sweep over Southwestern Christian over the weekend.
 
Crispin went six-for-nine at the plate (.667 average) against the Eagles with one home run, three doubles and five RBIs. He also logged a .727 on-base percentage and 1.333 slugging percentage.
 
Crispin ranks second on the squad and fourth in the Sooner Athletic Conference this season with a .478 batting average (33 for 69). He has hit safely in 19 of 20 games played with 10 multi-hit games to his credit.
