Stars top academic all-SAC team

OCU paces SAC with 157 all-academic honorees

OKLAHOMA CITY – Seth Jones racked up his third academic all-Sooner Athletic Conference honor to highlight Oklahoma City University's league-best 23 selections.
Peyton Crispin, Caleb Evans, Dillon Goddard, Garrett Horton and Tyler Williams took academic recognition from the SAC for the second year in a row. The academic all-SAC baseball team consisted of 123 student-athletes from around the league.
John Anthon, Noah Barks, Chris Bennefield, Joseph Garza, Gunner Halter, Grant Harrison, Jared Hazeldine, Hunter Hughes, Bryson Lierle, Evan Maun, Nicholas Paquin, Dalton Reed, Tanner Schoeninger, Matthew Turpen, Fredric Walter, Jacob Wright and Hunter Wyrick rounded out the Stars' academic all-conference contingent.
Oklahoma City boasted of a conference-best 157 academic all-SAC award winners as the league recognized 1,044 academic all-conference recipients in all sports from 2019-20. To earn academic all-SAC acclaim, student-athletes must have posted a minimum 3.25 grade-point average during the previous two semesters and be regular letter winners on his or her team.
