OCU’s Baker rakes in SAC player of week

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University's Jared Baker collected Sooner Athletic Conference baseball player of the week for March 9-15.
The sophomore outfielder from Edmond, Okla., went 7-for-20 (.350) with seven runs scored, two doubles, two home runs and seven RBIs as the Stars went 6-0 in games against preseason No. 1 Cumberland (Tenn.), St. Gregory's and Indiana Tech.
Baker also earned the award for the week of Feb. 2-8. The 16th-ranked Stars host Indiana Tech in a doubleheader starting 2 p.m. Tuesday. To follow the games via live stats, audio and video, click here.
