Stars' Robison snares SAC honor

Robison picks up second SAC libero of week recognition

OKLAHOMA CITY – Danielle Robison of Oklahoma City University collected Sooner Athletic Conference libero of the week for Sept. 30-Oct. 6.
Robison, a senior from Dallas, led the Stars to a 2-0 week with 5.56 digs per set, a perfect reception percentage in 22 attempts and three aces.
She had 32 digs in a win over Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) for the 11th 30-dig performance in school history Sept. 30 at Abe Lemons Arena. Robison reached 30 digs in a contest for the second time in her career. She matched her career high of 32 digs against McPherson (Kan.) on Sept. 1, 2012.
Robison averages 3.94 digs and 0.65 aces per set and leads the league in aces (43) and aces per set. Robison's numbers in conference play are 4.68 digs and 0.45 aces a set.
The SAC has honored Robison three times with a weekly award. Robison has earned two libero of the week awards and a setter of the week nod from the league.
