OKLAHOMA CITY – Garrett Parker of Oklahoma City University took Sooner Athletic Conference baseball pitcher of the week for March 30-April 5.
Parker, a junior from Duncanville, Texas, went 2-0 for the week with wins over St. Gregory's and Oklahoma Baptist, keeping an earned run average of 2.25. He fanned 13 in eight innings and allowed six hits and three walks.

For the year, Parker has gone 6-0 with a 2.88 ERA and 69 strikeouts in 50 innings.
