OCU defeats Bethany 5-0

Landon Camp went 1-for-4 with two RBIs on Friday.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University's baseball team improved to 15-0, defeating Bethany (Kan.) 5-0 on Friday at Jim Wade Stadium.

Sammy Lee, a senior from Ninnekah, Okla., went 2-for-5, knocking in two runs, and Landon Camp, a senior from Edmond, Okla., went 1-for-4 with two RBIs in the seventh inning with a single to right field.

OCU scored first in the fifth inning. Brandon Moss, a senior from Norman, Okla., doubled to right field, advancing Jason Machado to third. Lee knocked in the two runs with a double hit up the middle.

The Stars scored three runs in the seventh inning.

Garrett Parker, a junior from Duncanville, Texas, recorded the win for the Stars, throwing 7.2 innings. Parker set down nine batters with strikeouts and gave up two hits.

OCU will face Hastings (Neb.) on Saturday in a doubleheader at 2 p.m. at Jim Wade Stadium.
