OKLAHOMA CITY – Each year, Oklahoma City University's athletics teams get involved in the greater Oklahoma City community. Every team gets involved in Community Service Projects.
 
The NDA National Champion competitive dance team from OCU not only participated in two parades, but they also worked with kids and encouraged senior citizens.
 
The team participated in the Fiesta de las Américas parade in the fall and in the MLK Parade in the spring.
 
The Stars also participated in the Love for Our Elders program, writing letters of encouragement to senior citizens. They also seized the opportunity to work with the Boys and Girls Club of Topeka while visiting that city for the NAIA Championships.
