"I can't say enough of how proud I am of this team and this season," said Hinex. "I really and truly didn't know how everything would go and it worked out exactly as it should. This group fought from the start and showed how much they were willing to fight at the end. It's been 10 years since we've won our first and only hip-hop championship. We've come close many times but this year was our year and we would not have been able to do it without their hard work, hip hop choreography from Brandi Tucker and our support system."
The Stars were third in hip hop last season and took home the team performance title.
