TOPEKA – Oklahoma City improved its standing in the preliminary round of the NAIA Competitive Dance National Championships on Friday.
 
The Stars will be the eighth of 12 teams to perform after posting the fifth-best score in the preliminaries on Friday.
 
OCU scored an 89.60 in the prelims, which is its best score since January.
 
The Stars go for the title at 3:40 p.m. on Saturday with results announced at 5 p.m.
