OKLAHOMA CITY – Five members of Oklahoma City University's Competitive Cheer squad earned All-America status, the NAIA announced on Thursday.
 
Scotlyn Banfield, Matthew Carmen, Cali-Kae Peters all landed on the first team. Tanner Wood and Lexi Morgan were second-team selections.
 
The Stars placed fifth in the NAIA Championships last month.
 
For Banfield, a senior, this is the second consecutive season she has earned the award.
 
It is the first award for sophomores Carmen, Wood and Morgan and freshman Peters.
