COLUMBIA, Mo.- Oklahoma City placed third in the American Midwest Conference Competitive Dance Championships on Saturday.

The Stars finished with a score of 86.70 to finish third behind champion St. Ambrose (93.51) and Viterbo (91.14).

"I think today we came out and put on a great show," said OCU Head Coach Tasha Hinez. "Going into the second round, we took the notes from the judges and made small adjustments. It was good to compete and see where we are in the season. We have a few weeks to prepare as we move forward, and I know we will be even better."Â

The Stars carried off some individual glory as well.
Hannah Miller and
Alyssa Seratte earned first-team All-Conference.
Madison Dennis was OCU's Champions of Character award winner.

EmmaLu Clayton,
Hannah Miller, Dennis and
Makayla Messaris earned Academic All-Conference.

OCU is set to compete in the NAIA National Championships March 27-28
