Citrano lost his first match of the day but scored decisions over eighth-ranked Riley Bettich of Campbellsville and No. 3 Matthew Terrence of Doane. Citrano beat Terrence in a sudden victory decision, 4-1.

Fetterolf opened with a loss as well but rebounded for a pair of major decisions against No 14 Kris Arrey of Missouri Valley and No, 4 Elvis Solis of Life.

Smith reached the semifinals with a sudden victory decision over fifth-ranked Gentry Smith before falling to top-ranked Garavous Kouekabakilaho of Grand View. Smioth gets two more matches on Saturday.
