At Oklahoma (2022-24)
2022-23.
Put together impressive Freshman season as a starter at 174 pounds. Finished with a 21-10 overall record, including four wins over top-25 opponents. Compiled a 9-4 dual record, including a 5-1 record in Big 12 duals. Advanced to the semifinals at the Big 12 Championship and claimed fifth place in his first trip to the conference tournament. Earned the 18th seed in the 174-pound bracket of the NCAA Championships, finishing 1-2. Claimed the Bobby Kauffman Memorial Open title (Jan. 8) for his weight class after toppling Chase Kranitz (Buffalo) 6-2 in the final
2023-24.
Earned the 174-pound title at the Michigan State Open (Nov. 11) and Reno Tournament of Champions (Dec. 17). Also placed at the Southern Scuffle (fourth place). Started for the Sooners at the Big 12 Championships, wrestling as the No. 6 in the 174-pound bracket while picking up two wins for a podium finish (eighth place). Tallied five bonus point wins, including two tech falls on the year. NWCA Scholar All-American. Winter Academic All-Big 12 Team member.
2024-2025.
Third place finish at the southern scuffle.
High School
Unanimous No. 1-ranked recruit at 195 pounds in 2021 class. Ranked 12th in pound-for-pound rankings. USA Wrestling Senior All-America Dream Member. 151-4 record at Mustang High School where he won two state championships and was a finalist all four years. Won the 16U freestyle national championship. Oklahoma's nominee for USA Today's National Wrestler of the Year and the Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award. Four-time Fargo All-American. 2021 Jim Thorpe Wrestler of the Year. 2019 Cadet World Team member. Seven-time Judo National Champion and Pan-Am runner-up. Maintained a 4.24 GPA and was his class' valedictorian.

Son of Becky and Brian Picklo…Brother of Cameron Picklo, who wrestled at Oklahoma, and Trinity Thompson, who played soccer at Oklahoma State…FCA lead team member…Pursuing master’s degree in business administration…graduated with a degree in health and exercise science…Enjoys fishing and playing golf.
