OKLAHOMA CITY – Each year, Oklahoma City University's athletics teams get involved in the greater Oklahoma City community. Every team gets involved in
Community Service Projects.
Â
Men's wrestling didn't just excel with a national third-place finish and conference championship; the OCU wrestlers got involved in several projects.
Â
The Stars served at the Safety Net Runners for Kids Marathon, delivered donuts and thank you cards to first responders as part of the Campus 9/11 Project and worked with children at the Oklahoma City Police Department's Flex Fest Muscles and Mentors project.
Â
"Our athletes enjoyed the opportunity to get out and engage with the community," said OCU Head Coach
Justin Ensign. "I always feel it is important to be positively visible in the community."
