OCU heads into Friday's action in third place with 29 points.
 
Vincent Citrano, Kaden Fetterolf, John Wiley, Tate Picklo and Omari Smith all went 2-0 on Thursday.
 
Smith, who is unranked at 197 pounds sent No. 13 Tyler Rowland of Cumberland and No. 3 Elijah Hymes of Missouri Valley, to the consolation bracket with decisions.
 
Fourth-seeded Citrano moved through the first two rounds o 133 easily with a technical fall before getting a major decision over No. 13 Alex Tabor of Lindsey Wilson.
 
Fetterolf won two technical falls, the second coming against No. 16 Corban's JR Downing to reach the quarterfinals at 149.
 
Top-ranked Wiley pinned both of his opponents at 157, the second coming against No. 16 Vinnie Abbey of Indiana Tech.
 
Picklo, the top-ranked wrestler at 174, won by major decision and decision to reach the quarters.
 
After a first-round loss, Hayden Brown won two consolation matches at 164, including his No. 13 teammate Jordan Lomeli.'
 
Jace Province lost in the first round and won two consolation matches, ending the tournament for No. 4 Andrew Voiles with a pin in 1:44.
