OKLAHOMA CITY – The Stars' competitive dance team of Oklahoma City University heads to Columbia, Missouri, for Saturday's American Midwest Conference Championship.
 
Preliminary dances begin at 10 a.m. and run for most of the morning, followed by a final round.
 
OCU Notebook
Previously: Oklahoma City rounded out the regular season with a pair of runner-up finishes in the OCU Classic on Sunday. Grand View edged out OCU in the first round by 34/100ths of a point. Grand View won with 87.67, followed by OCU at 86.33. Kansas Wesleyan was third at 79.87 and Texas A&M-Texarkana placed fourth at 68.29. Grand View won the second round with 88.71 points, followed by OCU at 86.54 and Kansas Wesleyan at 80.08. After the event, OCU recognized seniors Makayla Messaris and Madison Dennis.
 
Last Season: Saint Ambrose won the AMC title last season with Viterbo coming in second.
