OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City's competitive cheer team heads to Columbia, Missouri, for Friday's American Midwest Conference Championship.
 
The teams begin their routines with the preliminary round on Friday morning with the final round coming later in the day.
 
OCU Notebook
Previously: Oklahoma City's competitive cheer team dominated the OCU Classic on Sunday, while also celebrating its four seniors. The Stars won with 93.5 points, followed by Friends at 84.07, Langston at 73.16 and Texas A&M-Texarkana at 55.2. After the event, OCU recognized seniors Scotlyn Banfield, Teagen Lindgren, Karamya Whitten and Tanner Sisco.
 
Last Season: The Stars won the Sooner Athletic Conference Championship last season. St. Ambrose is the defending AMC Champion and Dickinson State was the runner-up. St. Ambrose won nationals last season and Dickinson State placed third.
