Stars Score Impressive Wins in Kansas

NORTH NEWTON, Kan. – Oklahoma City scored an impressive victory in the Thresher Invitational on Saturday, ending a dominant string by three-time defending NAIA Champion St. Ambrose.

The Stars won Round One of the competition with a score of 92.9 and then made it clear that the win was no fluke with another win in the second round at 91.75.

It was the first time that St. Ambrose had lost any competition in two years, since losing to the Stars on March 1, 2024.

"These was two huge wins for us," said OCU Head Coach Alicia Bailey. "We added some skills this week and saw some improvement on certain areas we struggled with last week. We know we still have work to do, but we are excited for where we are at this point in the season."

The season continues on Feb. 21 when the Stars visit Baker in Baldwin City, Kansas.
