OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City competitive cheer team is in Kansas this Saturday for the Baker Classic.
 
The event begins at 1 p.m.

Previously: Oklahoma City scored an impressive victory in the Thresher Invitational two weeks ago, ending a dominant string by three-time defending NAIA Champion St. Ambrose. The Stars won Round One of the competition with a score of 92.9 and then made it clear that the win was no fluke with another win in the second round at 91.75. It was the first time that St. Ambrose had lost any competition in two years, since losing to the Stars on March 1, 2024.
 
Unbeaten: The Stars have won all three of their competitions this season with scores in the 90s at each event.
 
Honors: After beating St. Ambrose, Katherine England and Matthew Carmen of OCU were named Performers of the Week by the American Midwest Conference.
 
About Baker: Baker placed third and MidAmerica Nazarene won the Baker Classic last season.
