Finishing Up: The Stars have clinched a spot in the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament, which OCU hosts next week. Oklahoma City is 17-9 overall and 14-6 in the SAC. That conference record has the Stars in a three-way tie for third with Texas Wesleyan and Wayland Baptist.

Honors: Jonas Carlisle earned his first Sooner Athletic Conference award, taking Defensive Player of the Week honors on Monday. Carlisle helped the Stars to a 2-0 record last week with 16 defensive rebounds, four steals, and four blocks during the week. In a win over Wayland Baptist, Carlisle grabbed six defensive caroms, with a block. In a win over Panhandle State, Carlisle snagged 10 defensive boards, with four steals and three blocks. Carlisle also finished the week by averaging 17.5 points per game.

Stars on the Road: OCU is 6-4 on the road this season but has lost its last three away from home.
