WICHITA, Kan. – Oklahoma City opened the competitive dance season with a victory at the Friends Invite.

The Stars scored 92.46 points to win the seven-team field.

"This competition always helps us see how we feel early in the season," said OCU Head Coach
Tasha Hinex. "I truly felt that we had prepared, and shown up for this week. Now we need to continue to prepare for our next event in a few weeks."

Baker finished second at 89.63 and Kansas Wesleyan was third at 85.79.
