TULSA – Three freshman led No. 25 Oklahoma City to a fourth-place finish in the women's race of Rogers State's Distance After Dark cross country meet Thursday night.
The Stars finished with 129 points, finishing behind three NCAA Division II schools: Rogers State (24 points), Oklahoma Christian (54) and Oklahoma Baptist (82). OCU finished ahead of Arkansas-Fort Smith, John Brown, Dodge County, Southwestern Oklahoma State, Central Oklahoma and Mid-America Christian.

Isabella Gutierrez and
Keira Readnour made their college debuts in the top three spots for the Stars in the five-kilometer race.
Kenzi Readnour was ninth at 18:10, followed by Gutierrez in 12
th at 18:30 and
Keira Readnour in 16
th at 18:48.
Makenzi DeHart was 64
th at 21:02 and
Mattie Adams finished 89
th at 22:38. Two other OCU runners did not finish.
The Stars return to action on Sept. 26 at the Cowboy Jamboree in Stillwater.
