#24 Women's Cross Country Ray Fink

OCU Takes 24th at Texas A&M Meet

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Twenty-fourth-ranked Oklahoma City placed 24th out of 37 teams at Texas A&M's Arturo Barrios Invitational on Friday, besting the likes of McNeese State, Abilene Christian and UTEP.
 
OCU finished with 727 points, averaging 22:33 on the six-kilometer course.
 
Kenzi Readnour led the Stars in 106th place at 21:54, with Erika Pena not far off that pace at 21:59 for 115th place.
 
Freshmen Isabella Gutierrez and Keira Readnour finished 176th and 192nd, respectively. Gutierrez finished in 22:40 and Keira Readnour in 22:53. Florencia Cabrera rounded out the team scoring in 216th place at 23:20.
 
Makenzi DeHart finished in 24:56 for 271st place and Madeline Adams came in at 26:21 for 294th.
 
The meet was the final tune-up before the Stars defend their Sooner Athletic Conference championship on Nov. 8 in Siloam Springs, Ark.
