MARIAN, Ind. – Oklahoma City University scored 22 points and finished 12
th in the NAIA Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships, scoring in two events on Friday.

Ayenew Devany finished just off the scoring in ninth place in the 3000 steeplechase on Friday, coming in at 9:17.44.

Evert Silva took second – just a half second behind the winner – in the men's 1500 meters at 3:42.41 while Belkhalfi Hamza was seventh at 3:48.80 for All-America honors.

Silva captured his third All-America award of the meet, placing fifth in the 800 meters at 1:51.18.

Louise Cocking got OCU's women on the scoreboard with a sixth-place and All-America finish in the 5000 meters at 17:09.99.

OCU got its previous points in the men's 4x800 relay on Thursday when the Stars finished second by 5/100ths of a second, OCU was runner-up in the event that saw the Stars get on the team scoreboard with a time of 7:30.19.
