OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City opens its indoor track season Friday and Saturday at Pittsburg State's Crimson and Gold Invite.
 
The Stars send a dozen athletes to compete at the events, which begin Friday evening with the 5000-meter run.
 
Ayenew Devany, Isaiah Smith, Hendrick Ramirez, Demarion Dean, Alexander Daly and Cooper Phillips represent the OCU men. Isabella Gutierrez, Erika Pena, Vanessa Perez, Emily Schneider, Tabytha Roy and Isabelle Spiller represent the women's team.
 
More than 30 college teams, ranging from junior college to NCAA Division I are expected to compete.
