OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University fell short to Mid-America Christian 6-5 on Sunday at the MACU baseball field.
Aiden Alexander supplied the Stars, ranked 22nd in NAIA baseball, with three RBIs on three hits. Oklahoma City fell to 12-12, 4-2 in the Sooner Athletic Conference on the season.
Alexander doubled in the fourth inning, scoring
Tristan Williams and
Hunter Lenochan. Alexander also singled in the sixth to score
Barrett Daniel and later stole a base in the eighth.
OCU got the scoring started with an RBI single by Daniel in the second. Williams supplied the second RBI in the fourth with a single.
The Stars stranded two runners on base in the fourth while leading 3-1 and one in the sixth after Alexander was caught stealing and
Chad Pike struck out.

Andrew Limbaugh fanned nine in seven innings of work.
Tyler Polk picked up the loss as he came into the eighth to pitch and was charged with two earned runs.
The Stars had 13 hits in the game. Daniel, Williams and
Trent Kiraly each had two to go along with Alexander's three-hit game. Alexander, a freshman from Yukon, Okla., studying exercise science, posted a 3-for-4 day with a season-high three RBIs, while Daniel, a junior from Bixby, Okla., majoring in cell & molecular biology, went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a run driven in. Williams, a senior business administration major from Southlake, Texas, had a 2-for-4 performance with two runs scored and an RBI.
OCU gets back on the diamond for a 3 p.m. doubleheader Friday vs. Panhandle State at Jim Wade Stadium.
