ASHLAND, NEB. - The Oklahoma City women's cross country team finished ninth overall out of 23 schools competing while the Stars had four individuals complete the 6K race in the top 100.
Leading the way for the Stars was
Cailen Jolley who finished with the top time for OCU of 23:36.7 to come in 60th overall out of 287 runners. Jolley finishes with a season best in a 6K event and earns her first top finish for Oklahoma City. Ginger Macinnis-Pierce followed right behind Jolley coming in 62nd overall with a time of 23:39.4. Coming in 86th place was
Erika Pena who ran the race in a time of 24:18.1.

As a team, Oklahoma City finished in 9th place among a pool of 23 schools. The Stars ran in a time of 2:00:53.60 with an average pace of 24:10.72. College of Idaho secured the top spot on both the men's and women's side as the women's team finished the race with a time of 1:48:04.60.

The regular season has wrapped itself up and the Stars will return back to action in the Sooner Athletic Conference Championship on Nov. 4 hosted by Oklahoma City at Eldon Lyon Park in Bethany, Okla.
