OKLAHOMA CITY – The Sooner Athletic Conference week four offensive and defensive player of the week honors both went to players from Oklahoma City University.
April Hill was awarded the offensive player of the week award, and Irene Gonzales got the nod for defensive player of the week.
Offensive player of the week: April Hill | Sr. | F| Portsmouth, Pertersfield, England
April Hill picked up her first SAC offensive player of the week award this week scoring a goal in both OCU games, on the road at Houston-Victoria and Our Lady of the Lake (Texas). Her goal against Houston-Victoria was the game winner in a 2-1 victory, and against the Saints, her late goal gave the Stars a well-deserved draw.

Irene Gonzalez was tabbed the SAC defensive player of the week for the second time this season. This past week, the Oklahoma City freshman goal keeper had four saves in a win and a draw against Houston Victoria and Our Lady of the Lake.
