ROCKLIN, Calif. – Oklahoma City University bowed out of the NAIA College STUNT Nationals after falling 10-8 against Missouri Baptist on Friday at Warrior Arena.
Oklahoma City completed the season 5-11. Earlier Friday, the Stars fell 20-1 to William Jessup (Calif.).
OCU was striving to reach the national championship game for the second consecutive year. The Stars took national runner-up in 2020-21.
Against Missouri Baptist, OCU led 5-2 after two quarters. Missouri Baptist rallied with four points during the jumps and tumbling skills performance in the third. Missouri Baptist closed out the contest outscoring OCU 4-3 in the fourth quarter.
Against host William Jessup, the Stars scored their point in the second quarter during the pyramids and tosses phase.
