EDMOND, Okla. – Oklahoma City University enters the NAIA College STUNT Nationals as the No. 4 seed starting Saturday at Hamilton Field House.
The Stars (7-5) meet fifth seed Missouri Baptist at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the opening contest of the double-elimination tournament. The winning team takes on No. 1 seed William Jessup (Calif.) at 4 p.m. Saturday with the losing team competing 5 p.m. Saturday.
Oklahoma City collected a 16-6 victory over Missouri Baptist on March 4 in Moore, Okla. Second seed Vanguard (Calif.) faces No. 3 seed Hope International (Calif.) at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. The national championship contest takes place noon Sunday.
William Jessup captured the national championship 9-8 over Vanguard on April 30, 2022 in Rocklin, Calif. William Jessup has followed up its national title with a 15-1 mark this season.
OCU owns national runner-up finishes in the College STUNT Nationals in 2021 among the NAIA and in 2012 and '13 in the College STUNT Division II Nationals.
