OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University prevailed over Texas Woman's 13-5 on Friday night at Abe Lemons Arena.
The Stars also fell 16-3 to Vanguard (Calif.) and 17-5 to William Jessup (Calif.). OCU went to 4-5 this season.
Against Texas Woman's, OCU scored in each quarter. The Stars tallied five points in the fourth quarter to put away the victory. The Stars led 6-0 after two quarters after picking up four points in the second.
In the rematch of the 2021 national championship, Vanguard tallied six points in the final period. Vanguard had an 8-0 lead through two quarters.
William Jessup outscored the Stars 7-2 in the fourth of that matchup. William Jessup had a 7-1 lead after two periods.
Oklahoma City meets Missouri Baptist at 10:30 a.m., then Texas Tyler at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Abe Lemons Arena.
