OCU hosts fall cheer/STUNT recruit day

Stars to teach collegiate level skills

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University invites prospective student-athletes to a fall recruit day for its competitive cheerleading and STUNT teams at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 7 on campus.
The Stars will offer a group campus tour along with clinics for both the cheer and STUNT teams, providing opportunities to meet the team and experience what a practice will be like. Recruits will get to learn collegiate level skills including stunts, baskets and pyramids with OCU student-athletes.
There will be an admissions and financial aid presentation, lunch in the cafeteria with team members and coaches and a Q&A session with the coaching staff.
The clinic will be located inside the Freede Wellness Center on OCU's campus, costing $20 for one clinic and $30 for both clinics. A free t-shirt will be provided.
OCU has won 12 national championships, including NAIA championships in 2014, 2015 and 2017 in competitive cheerleading. The Stars have produced 70 all-Americans.
