OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University's Georgia Wall snatched Sooner Athletic Conference softball pitcher of the week for the third time this season.
Wall, a sophomore from Marlow, Okla., collected the weekly league honor for the sixth time in her career for Oklahoma City.
On Thursday, Wall posted a perfect game as OCU, top-ranked in the NAIA, shut out Sterling (Kan.) 8-0  at Ann Lacy Stadium. Wall picked up the Stars' first perfect game since Abby Meador remained perfect April 21, 2015 in a 6-0 win at Mid-America Christian. Wall notched eight strikeouts while setting down each Sterling batter through five innings. Wall logged 60 pitches.
During the week of March 20-26, Wall recorded a 2-0 record, 0.64 earned run average and 11 strikeouts in 11 innings.
Wall owns a 15-0 record, 0.56 ERA, 12 complete games, six shutouts, three saves and 93 strikeouts in 99.1 innings this year.
The Stars have run their program-best undefeated start to 34-0. OCU meets St. Gregory's at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Shawnee, Okla.
