SALINA, Kan. – Oklahoma City University provided Kyle Steele his first head-coaching win with a 25-15, 25-19, 25-16 sweep of Haskell (Kan.) on Saturday afternoon at the Mabee Arena in the Kansas Wesleyan Invitational.
The Stars improved to 2-0 with a 21-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-15 victory over Tabor (Kan.) on Saturday night.
"It was a good start for us to have to climb some mental hurdles, and we took steps in finding our team identity," Steele said. "We struggled to control the ball at times, but when we limited our unforced errors, we looked pretty good. Regardless, it's good to be 2-0 at the end of the day."
