OCU’s Holasek named SAC player of the week

Kyndra Holasek helped Stars to 7-0 week

Kyndra Holasek is hitting .440 with 20 RBIs this season.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University's Kyndra Holasek was named Sooner Athletic Conference softball player of the week for March 10-16.
Holasek, a sophomore shortstop from Mustang, Okla., batted .640 with two home runs and 10 RBI in a 7-0 week for the Stars. She also had 10 runs and an .880 slugging percentage.
Holasek is hitting .440 with 20 RBIs on three doubles, three home runs and two triples. Holasek has 10 stolen bases on the season and is seventh in the NAIA with 33 runs scored.
The Stars (23-1) will look to extend their 21-game winning streak against Abilene Christian at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Poly Wells Field in Abilene, Texas.
