Rounsaville of OCU honored by SAC

Junior from Yukon, Okla., nabs first SAC player of week honor

Kylee Rounsaville drove in nine runs last week to help keep the Stars on their current win streak.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City's Kylee Rounsaville picked up Sooner Athletic Conference softball player of the week for March 3-9.
Rounsaville, a junior catcher from Yukon, Okla., earned her first weekly recognition from the SAC.
Rounsaville's numbers on the week were a .500 batting average with a double, a home run and nine RBIs to lead the Stars to a 4-0 week. She slugged .900, scored five runs and had two walks and a stolen base.
The Stars, ranked third in the NAIA, take a 14-game win streak into a 2 p.m. doubleheader against Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) on Tuesday at Ann Lacy Stadium. OCU enters with an 18-1 record with an 8-0 league record.
