Stars' Worsham named SAC offensive player of the week

Allison Worsham earned her second straight SAC player of the week honor

Allison Worsham leads the Stars with 10 goals on the season.
OKLAHOMA CITY –Oklahoma City University's Allison Worsham was named Sooner Athletic Conference women's soccer offensive player of the week Monday.
Worsham, a freshman forward from Edmond, Okla., had goals in all three OCU wins on the week. She had two each against Texas Wesleyan and Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) and a game-winner in overtime against Houston-Victoria (Texas).  She also tallied an assist against Texas Wesleyan for 11 points on the week.
Worsham, who earned her second consecutive SAC player of the week honor, is tied with junior Meghan McMahon for the team lead in goals with 10. She also has three assists on the season.
The Stars will open SAC play against Rogers State at 2 p.m. Friday at Soldier Field in Claremore, Okla.
