Rounsaville of OCU picked SAC player of week

Stars freshman nails two home runs vs. Oklahoma Wesleyan

Kylee Rounsaville has hit .362 with two home runs and 12 RBIs this year.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University's Kylee Rounsaville has been selected Sooner Athletic Conference softball player of the week for March 7-13.

Rounsaville, a freshman third baseman from Mustang, Okla., batted .857 (6-for-7) with two home runs, four RBIs and three runs scored in a split with Oklahoma Wesleyan on Thursday at Ann Lacy Stadium.

The Stars, ranked 10th in the NAIA, take on LSU-Alexandria in a 2 p.m. doubleheader Tuesday in Alexandria, La.
