OCU blisters Missouri Valley 16-0

Landon Camp had four hits Saturday.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University dealt Missouri Valley a 16-0 setback Saturday at Jim Wade Stadium.

OCU banged out 18 hits, seven of which went for extra bases. The Stars (12-0) are ranked second in the NAIA by Collegiate Baseball.

Dustin Williams carried a no-hitter through four complete innings. Williams, a junior right-hander from Norman, Okla., struck out nine in six innings of one-hit ball. Tristan Bugenis finished the game with a scoreless inning.

Landon Camp, a junior from Edmond, Okla., went 4-for-4 with four RBIs and three runs scored. Camp parked a 1-0 pitch over the right-field fence for a two-run home run in the fourth inning.

B.J. Wheeler went 3-for-4 and scored three times, and Sammy Lee went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Jason Machado had a two-run base hit in the third and added a sacrifice fly in the fifth. David Mann went 2-for-4 and scored two runs.

The Stars tagged losing pitcher Jaiven Estrada for 12 runs on 16 hits in four innings.

OCU meets Missouri Valley at noon Sunday at Jim Wade Stadium in a single game.
